About BIGBANG
BIGBANG debuted under YG Entertainment on August 19, 2006 and revolutionized the K-pop industry by writing and producing most of their own music. The group consists of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri (who departed in 2019). G-Dragon in particular is considered one of the most influential figures in Korean popular music history. BIGBANG blended hip-hop, rock, pop, and EDM in ways that opened the door for self-producing idol groups. Their influence is felt across every major 3rd and 4th gen group.
