About EXO
EXO debuted under SM Entertainment on April 8, 2012 as a group originally split into two subgroups: EXO-K (Korean) and EXO-M (Mandarin). Each member was assigned a superpower in a fictional universe: telekinesis, time control, fire, wind, healing, lightning, ice, light, and more. The group currently consists of Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun, Xiumin, and Lay (who remains under SM China). EXO dominated Korean charts from 2013 to 2018 with multiple consecutive MAMA Album of the Year wins, earning the nickname "Monster Rookies."
