About Super Junior
Super Junior debuted under SM Entertainment on November 6, 2005 and became the most popular K-pop group in Asia during the late 2000s to early 2010s. Originally conceived as a rotating roster, the group stabilized and currently has ten active members. "Sorry, Sorry" (2009) became a pan-Asian phenomenon and is one of the most recognizable K-pop songs ever made. The group pioneered the use of Mandarin promotions (Super Junior-M), setting a template for cross-cultural releases. Multiple subunits (K.R.Y., D&E, T) have released successful music under the SJ umbrella.
