About Cube Entertainment

Cube Entertainment was founded in 2006 by Hong Seung-sung, a former executive at SM Entertainment. Cube launched BEAST (later known as Highlight after departing Cube), 4MINUTE, and Hyuna as major 2nd-generation acts. After those artists departed, Cube rebuilt its roster around (G)I-DLE, PENTAGON, CLC, and others. (G)I-DLE's extraordinary self-producing success under Cube has re-established the company's artistic reputation. Cube is smaller than the Big 4 but has consistently punched above its weight in terms of critical acclaim.

Known For

Cube Entertainment is known for launching (G)I-DLE, one of the most creative and self-producing groups of the 4th generation. Cube was also home to BEAST/Highlight and 4MINUTE, key 2nd-generation acts that shaped the mid-2010s K-pop landscape.

Signature Sound

🎵

Diverse and genre-fluid — Cube does not have one signature sound, reflecting the independence it gives its artists. (G)I-DLE is known for dark, experimental production; PENTAGON for emotional sincerity. Cube encourages its artists to participate in their own creative process.
